Grit is good! 

 

Perseverance sounds like hard work to me, but James, the brother of Jesus, persuades us in the first few verses of his letter that it is just this quality of developing perseverance, or ‘grit’, that matures us as Christians and helps us to become more and more complete ( in other words ‘like Jesus’), whose perseverance took him to the cross. [read more]
